I’ve been using this online color picker for years and have found it really useful at times for finding combinations of colors that go together: Kuler from Adobe. It is just fun to play around with and browse through, but it is also extraordinarily useful when you are designing a piece of collateral with a brand new look. Especially if you are not using a photo in your design, a good color scheme is essential. You can browse the themes by ‘best rated’, ‘most popular’, ‘newest’, or you can create your own. Click on the button that looks like sliders to get all of the RGB, CMYK, etc. color values for your new theme. I encourage you take just a couple of minutes, start clicking around, and have fun with it!
