Looking Forward
We all know (really we do) that a vision is vital to a business. It is what keeps us going when everything else is not going so well! While we know we need a business plan, many of us don’t have one. But we can create a vision to help us move forward.
So, when thinking of your plan for 2010, ask yourself these questions:
- What do I want from this business in the next twelve months?
- How much money do I want to make?
- How much do I have to sell in gross revenues?
- How many clients in each of my product or service offerings does that mean?
- What are my expenses? Are they high? If so, how can I make them lower?
- How can I be more efficient in my operations?
- What am I going to do new this year that no one else has done in my industry?
- Does my team know these are our goals and how each of them plays into that?
If you just have a clear answer to these questions, you will be fired up for what you can achieve this year. I have done mine and it made such a difference. Go ahead, try it! Let me know if it helped.
